I think this is one of the few real advantages we have compared to shopping blindly. Many times I avoided a bad purchase just by reading a few careful comments. People who share height and weight information make it easier to choose the right size. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. Very thin fabric may be fine for summer but often looks cheap and becomes see through.

In the end there is no perfect shop, but some stores are clearly more consistent. If buyers say the item runs small or large, I always adjust my choice accordingly. Nose pads that are too hard leave marks and feel uncomfortable on the skin. It is interesting to see how different people value different aspects of a product. Now I try to read as many real user reviews as possible before I buy anything. Personally I like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing.
