Voorstel voor eventueel nieuwe straatnaam:
- Oude Kapelweg (reden: Straat is genoemd naar de nabij gelegen Sint-Willibroduskapel, in de volksmond beter gekend als de Oude Kapel)
- Vrankenveld (reden: in een historisch grondplan ligt de huidige Kapelweg in de zone met grondbenaming Vranken Veld).
- Arnoldstraat (reden: Genoemd naar Arnold Swinnen (overleden in 1979) grote bezieler van het vereningsleven in het Herent (mede-oprichter voetbal SV Herkol, Hoofdonderwijzer lagere school Herent,  Voorzitter Boerenbond, KLJ-toneel regisseur,  enz... , hij heeft vele mensen in ons gehucht vereningd)
